"My own flesh and blood" tells the story of the woman Franziska (Veronica Ferres) who is in a happy relationship and got a promotion in her job. The career woman lives the perfect life until her boyfriend Robert (August Zirner) tells her about his desire for own children. Franziska gets thereby confronted with her past. She was pregnant in the age of 15 years and her parents ordered her to give her little son up to adoption. Franziska never met her boy but now wants to make peace with her past and goes about to search for him...and finds out he is a junkie.
